I'm glad it went well, but I'm so sorry about your dog. I lost an elderly cat to kidney issues several years ago, and it looks like I'll lose another to the same. But don't feel bad - you've given your dog a fabulous life and 15 is a very good age. Your dog was there as you wrote and wouldn't want you to miss out seeing your play on the stage.

Thanks again for sharing all the ups and downs of this process, and it sounds like the play is magnificent just the way it is. After all, you wouldn’t have so many remarkable people working with you on it if it wasn’t. So sorry to hear about poor Peanut - your love for your dog reminds me of the famous line by Elizabeth Barrett Browning about her dog Flush “ "My little dog - a heartbeat at my feet” 🐶

Congratulations Daisy! So sorry however about your dog and the return of your inner critic. What a bitch to impose herself in the middle of your after-glow. Wishing you resilience and strength to keep writing. Your words always make me smile and inspire me to try harder. x

You must be a good un if you have a 15year old Border Terrier. We lost our Digger last year. He was 15 and a half. Xxxxx

Congratulations, Daisy! I’ve enjoyed vicariously being part of the process through your writing.

Sorry to hear about Peanut being so ill, though. That’s so tough.

Congratulations Daisy. I enjoyed the rollercoaster of emotions here, and feel I’ve been on that ride with you. I put the self flagellation down to the hangover.

I’m sorry to hear about Peanut too. It’s the hardest thing to see pets ailing, but he sounds like he’s had a very good family.
